Throughout most of my career, I have worked with and for immigrant and refugee communities and people of color advocating for racial and social justice. I care deeply about people who are historically excluded and that their voices are truly heard and uplifted. My lived experience as a transracial adoptee has shaped how I see and move through the world. I have faced numerous challenges in my own life and considered changing my first name to Resilient. Those tough times have given me a keen sense of perception of what others are facing in their lives; my strong intuitive nature and pragmatic organizational skills are what make me an effective life coach. In addition, I have a wicked sense of humor! I also worked in retail prior to my social work career and at the very least can offer you fashion and home-style tips!
